SF Partners are recruiting for a qualified Management Accountant to join a growing finance team in a broad role combining management reporting, FP&A, business partnering, and process improvement.

This would suit an ACA, ACCA, or CIMA-qualified accountant who enjoys getting beyond the numbers, understanding business performance, and helping improve the quality and efficiency of financial reporting.

The role will include:

  • Preparing and coordinating monthly management accounts and supporting schedules
  • Producing variance analysis and commentary against budget, forecast, and prior year
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles
  • Analyzing revenue, costs, margins, headcount, and key performance drivers
  • Identifying financial risks, opportunities, and underlying causes of variances
  • Working with budget holders and operational stakeholders to improve forecast accuracy
  • Producing management information, financial models, and ad hoc analysis
  • Coordinating reporting activity across the FP&A team, without direct line management responsibility
  • Supporting improvements to month-end close, reporting processes, and financial controls
  • Helping drive greater automation and standardization across finance

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
