Join Our Growing Team
We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Management Accountant to join our site leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant looking to take the next step in their career within a growing manufacturing environment.
Working closely with the Plant Manager, you will lead the day-to-day finance activities for the site, providing accurate financial reporting, supporting operational decision-making, and ensuring robust financial controls.
As Management Accountant, you will:
- Lead the site's finance function and manage and support the Finance Assistant.
- Manage Accounts Payable processes, including supplier invoice processing, reconciliations, and query resolution.
- Prepare month-end accounts, reconciliations, and management reports.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor financial performance and provide insightful reporting and analysis.
- Produce sales and margin reporting.
- Oversee stock counts and stock reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Support payroll administration and reporting requirements.
- Assist with audit preparation and statutory reporting.
- Partner with managers across the business to provide financial support and guidance.

We're looking for someone who is:
- Part-qualified and actively studying towards ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, ICAS, or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Degree qualified in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline, or able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
- Experienced in a finance or accounting role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Experienced using accounting systems such as Sage, SAP, or similar.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and commercially aware.
- A confident communicator who can build strong relationships across the business.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing workloads independently.
