As a Management Accountant

You'll play a key role in managing the financial reporting and budgeting processes. Your work will help ensure the organisation operates efficiently and delivers on its objectives.

Client Details

Michael Page have partnered with a reputable not-for-profit organisation in the Greater Manchester region, to support with the recruitment of a Management Accountant on a 2 year FTC basis.

Description

  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Analyse financial performance and provide insightful recommendations.
  • Support the preparation of management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist in financial planning and decision-making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with various departments to monitor and control costs.
  • Provide financial advice to support organisational goals.
  • Contribute to process improvements within the finance function.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • Experience working in the social housing sector or the wider public/not-for-profit sectors.
  • Strong Management Accounting experience.
  • Part-qualified, finalist, or qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting processes.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

Job Offer

  • Salary of £47,000
