As a Management Accountant
You'll play a key role in managing the financial reporting and budgeting processes. Your work will help ensure the organisation operates efficiently and delivers on its objectives.

Michael Page have partnered with a reputable not-for-profit organisation in the Greater Manchester region, to support with the recruitment of a Management Accountant on a 2 year FTC basis.
Description
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Analyse financial performance and provide insightful recommendations.
- Support the preparation of management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in financial planning and decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate with various departments to monitor and control costs.
- Provide financial advice to support organisational goals.
- Contribute to process improvements within the finance function.

Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Experience working in the social housing sector or the wider public/not-for-profit sectors.
- Strong Management Accounting experience.
- Part-qualified, finalist, or qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

Job Offer
- Salary of £47,000
- Hybrid working arrangement for flexibility.
- 2 year month Fixed-term contract
