Newly Qualified Management Accountant | London | Hybrid
Location: North West London | 3 days in the office
We are currently recruiting for a Newly Qualified Management Accountant to join a growing, internationally established business based in North West London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified accountant to take ownership of management accounting responsibilities within a fast-paced, commercially focused finance team.
The role will have a particular focus on supporting the US operations, preparing monthly management accounts, maintaining strong financial controls, and providing analysis to support business decision-making. You’ll work closely with both the wider finance team and operational stakeholders, with the opportunity to take ownership of an assigned legal entity over time.
The Role
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts for the US operations.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving reconciling items.
- Support the month-end close process and continuously improve financial reporting processes.
- Ensure the integrity of financial information and maintain strong financial controls.
- Reconcile US cash and accounts payable transactions on a weekly basis and resolve discrepancies.
- Provide financial analysis to support business performance and decision-making.
- Build strong relationships with operational teams and finance stakeholders.
- Respond to finance-related queries across the US operations.
- Assist with statutory, audit, tax, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise, and improve finance processes and controls.
- Support ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives.

About You
- Newly qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- At least two years’ accounting experience.
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Good understanding of UK GAAP and/or IFRS.
- Experience using NetSuite or a similar ERP system.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commercially minded approach.
- Confident communicator with good stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Experience within a multi-site, logistics, service, or PE-backed business would be advantageous.

You’ll be joining an established international organisation where you’ll work closely with senior finance and operational stakeholders and have the opportunity to take ownership of a legal entity.
Location: North West London
Working pattern: Minimum 3 days per week in the office
