Management Accountant, Sports Industry, West London, Paying up to £55k
We’re recruiting a Management Accountant to join a growing, international media and entertainment business operating across broadcast, digital streaming and data services.
This is a varied role offering exposure to multiple revenue models, international operations and a multi-currency environment. You’ll play a key role in delivering accurate management reporting, supporting forecasting and providing financial insight to stakeholders across the business.
Working closely with the wider finance team, you’ll also have responsibility for overseeing an Accounts Payable Assistant and contributing to ongoing process and systems improvements.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the monthly management accounts process, including month-end close, trial balance preparation and accurate profit and loss and balance sheet reporting.
- Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Support quarterly forecasting, budgeting and analysis of actual performance against budget and forecast.
- Produce management reports, dashboards and financial analysis to support business decisions.
- Oversee key financial reconciliations, allocations, commissions and reporting across multiple business areas.
- Support the wider finance team with month-end procedures, reporting requirements and day-to-day activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems and reporting.
- Respond to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests from internal stakeholders.

About you
- ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified.
- At least two years’ experience within a finance function, with practical management accounting and balance sheet reconciliation experience.
- Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and core financial processes.
- Confident working with financial data, reporting and analysis.
- Experience in a multi-currency environment would be advantageous.
- A collaborative business partner with strong communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Proactive, detail-oriented and committed to continuous improvement and delivering a high standard of service.
