About The Role

This six-month fixed-term contract seeks a Management Accountant in Bromsgrove, working on-site Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. The successful candidate will prepare accurate monthly management accounts across several entities, support the wider finance function, and ensure reporting deadlines are achieved. Pertemps is recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team on a six-month fixed-term contract.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who is confident in producing accurate and timely management accounts across multiple entities. Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing monthly management accounts for multiple entities in line with reporting deadlines.
  • Assisting with consolidated reporting and group management accounts.
  • Producing financial reports, analysis, and commentary to support business decision-making.
  • Investigating variances and providing clear explanations of financial performance.
  • Completing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
  • Monitoring and reporting on balance sheet movements.
  • Working closely with stakeholders across the business to provide financial support and insight.
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities where required.
  • Assisting with audit preparation and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance reporting efficiency.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • ACCA, ACA, CIMA qualification (or be qualified by experience).
  • Previous experience producing management accounts, preferably across multiple entities or business units.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Experience of working within a multi-company environment would be advantageous.

Management or team leadership experience is not essential. Applications are welcomed from experienced Management Accountants who are confident managing the reporting process and working independently.
