Management Accountant Opportunity

Four-day working week | £30,000 per year

Poole, Dorset

TLNT Group is home to Hyped and Taste; two talent management agencies representing some of the UK’s most exciting creators, personalities and emerging brands.

We work across an ambitious, fast-moving industry, managing everything from major brand partnerships and content campaigns to publishing, product launches, events and longer-term talent strategy.

As the group continues to grow, we’re looking for a Management Accountant to join us at our Poole HQ and take ownership of the day-to-day finance function across TLNT, Hyped and Taste.

This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who is confident with the numbers, highly organised and comfortable working across multiple businesses, campaigns and payment processes. You’ll play an important part in keeping everything running smoothly, from raising client invoices and preparing monthly accounts to ensuring our talent are paid accurately and on time.

Importantly, this is a four-day-per-week role, offering the security and salary of a strong finance position alongside a genuine additional day away from work each week.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Raising and issuing client invoices accurately and promptly
  • Monitoring outstanding invoices and managing the credit control process
  • Proactively chasing overdue payments and maintaining clear payment records
  • Preparing and processing weekly talent payment runs
  • Consolidating campaign payments and talent fees through our CRM
  • Processing supplier payments and managing accounts payable
  • Completing regular bank reconciliations
  • Maintaining accurate financial records across TLNT, Hyped and Taste
  • Preparing monthly management accounts using Xero
  • Producing monthly profit and loss reports, balance sheets and supporting financial commentary
  • Supporting cash-flow forecasting, budgeting and financial planning
  • Reviewing income, expenditure and campaign profitability
  • Processing payroll and maintaining accurate payroll records
  • Managing staff expenses, company cards and expense reconciliations
  • Preparing VAT returns for review and submission by our external accountants
  • Supporting month-end and year-end accounting processes
  • Liaising with our external accountants and providing any information they require
  • Helping to develop budgets, forecasts and financial reporting across the group
  • Identifying opportunities to improve financial systems, controls and internal processes
  • Maintaining organised records and ensuring key finance deadlines are met
  • Supporting wider administrative and HR-related tasks, including holiday tracking and employee records
  • Providing clear financial information and support to the wider team when needed

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
