Management Accountant | 3 month contract | South West London | Multichannel Retail business | £230-£270 per day | 4 days per week in office
A £70 million turnover, fashion retail business are looking to hire a Management Accountant on a 3 month contract, based in their South West London Head Office (4 days in the office). The business has achieved considerable growth over the past 3 years, driven both by their retail store sales and ecommerce channel.
The Management Accountant will take ownership for month-end and management accounts for the retail channel as well as partnering with store managers and department heads to take ownership of month end duties. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will work in a direct team of 4 and have broad exposure as part of your role.

Responsibilities include:
- Owning the production of management accounts across multiple sites
- Month end duties including journals, accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets
- Handling balance sheet reconciliations
- Reviewing monthly results and variance analysis vs KPIs and budget
- Assist with preparation of internal reports and finance analysis
- Assisting with budgets
- Assisting with year-end tasks

Skill set required:
- Experience handling management accounts and month-end
- Retail or consumer knowledge with experience operating in a multi-site or multi-entity environment
- Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables and v lookups)
- Availability to start a role in mid September
- Team player, keen learner, and can do attitude
