Management Accountant - Belfast
MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a global professional services organisation to recruit a Management Accountant to join their finance function based in Belfast.
The Company:
Our client is a well-established global professional services organisation with an extensive international presence. They are seeking a Management Accountant to join their Belfast Financial Control team, supporting management accounting and reporting for their UK operations. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative finance team in a varied role combining financial reporting, commercial analysis, and process improvement.
The Rewards:
- £42,000-£50,000 base salary + extensive benefits package
- Annual bonus (10%)

The Role:
As the successful Management Accountant, you will:
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including journals, P&L and balance sheet reviews
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding items
- Analyse performance against budgets and forecasts, explaining key financial movements
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Maintain strong financial controls and support year-end, statutory, and group audits
- Other duties as outlined in the full job description
The Person:
The successful Management Accountant will meet the following criteria:
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
- Open to accountancy practice or industry background
- Strong technical accounting experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
