About the Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial information to support business and board level decision making. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to take on a role covering management accounts, financial reporting, business partnering, statutory accounting and process improvement, with strong exposure to senior stakeholders.

Michael Page Finance is partnering with one of our key clients, a successful and growing professional services business, to recruit a Management Accountant into its high-performing finance team.
Description
- Prepare full monthly management accounts and supporting reporting.
- Own balance sheet management, including reconciliations and the fixed asset register.
- Business partner with senior management, providing financial analysis and insight.
- Present financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Support statutory accounts, group reporting and tax submissions.
- Act as a key contact for external auditors during the year-end process.
- Support annual budgeting, forecasting and re-forecasting.
- Support the implementation of new finance systems.
- Review and improve finance processes, with a focus on automation and efficiency.
- Lead, coach and develop members of the finance team.

- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification with relevant post-qualified experience.
- Strong experience preparing full monthly management accounts.
- Previous exposure to statutory accounting, tax and audit.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- The confidence to challenge information and identify opportunities for improvement.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to take ownership.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
