Talentedge are actively recruiting for a driven Management Accountant for a growing independent creative agency in Central London. The role offers hybrid working (3 days per week in the office) and a salary of £50k p/a + study support.
Duties include:
- Assist in the preparation of management accounts
- Prepare and post journals including accruals and recharges
- Review journals posted by Finance Assistant including prepayments and depreciation
- Perform balance reconciliations and investigate variances
- Assist with month-end close activities to ensure timely reporting
- Prepare reconciliations for review with account teams
- Analyse revenues, costs, and profitability across agency and production projects
- Assist with intercompany reconciliations and transactions
- Support credit control oversight and cash collection activities
- Ensure financial records are accurate and maintained in line with company policies
- Help strengthen financial controls and processes as the business grows
- Work closely with budget holders across the business
- Work closely with Finance Assistant and oversee transactional processes
- Provide financial information and analysis to support decision-making
- Assist teams with project financial tracking
- Support the team with commercial analysis and strategic projects
- Assist with year-end audit preparation
- Support statutory reporting requirements
- Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation

Candidates essentials to have:
- Finalist student accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a finance role
- Experience assisting with management accounts preparation
- Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables and XLOOKUPs
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to liaise across the business
- Proactive and willing to take ownership of tasks
- Experience within a media environment
- Experience with project accounting or revenue recognition
- Familiarity with accounting systems such as Xero, Sage, NetSuite, or similar
