Ready to turn strong technical foundations into genuine commercial influence?
This newly created Management Accountant opportunity sits within a growing Yorkshire business where finance has real visibility, credibility and impact. You will be trusted with ownership, encouraged to challenge the status quo and given exposure well beyond the traditional management accounting remit.
Working closely with senior finance leaders and operational teams, you will translate financial information into meaningful insight, helping the business understand performance, manage risk and make better decisions.
What you will be doing
- Delivering accurate and timely monthly management accounts
- Producing clear commentary and analysis on financial and operational performance
- Supporting budgets, forecasts and cashflow planning
- Partnering with stakeholders to explain results and challenge assumptions
- Strengthening balance sheet control and reporting accuracy
- Identifying trends, risks and opportunities within the numbers
- Improving processes, management information and reporting efficiency
- Supporting systems development, automation and wider finance projects

The background we are seeking
You may be newly qualified, approaching qualification or already building your experience in industry. You will ideally be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, with a strong grasp of management accounting and the confidence to engage with non-finance stakeholders.
You will be someone who:
- Understands the story behind the numbers
- Enjoys analysing performance and solving problems
- Communicates clearly and credibly
- Takes ownership and follows through
- Looks for better ways of working
- Wants faster exposure and long-term career progression
This is not a role where you will simply produce the numbers and move on. You will help shape how they are understood and used.
