An exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant in Salford
This is a broad, commercially focused role where you'll have the opportunity to influence business decisions through insightful financial analysis, management reporting, and performance analysis.
You'll work closely with both Finance and operational teams, gaining exposure to senior stakeholders and playing an important role in helping the business improve profitability and performance.

What you'll do
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis.
- Provide clear commentary on performance against budget and forecast.
- Monitor financial performance, identifying key risks, trends, and opportunities.
- Analyse margins, sales, and costs to understand what's driving business performance.
- Support pricing, promotional, and product decisions through financial analysis.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls.
- Work closely with operational stakeholders to provide useful financial insight and support decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting and processes across the finance function.

What we're looking for
- Newly qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data.
- Previous Management Accounting experience, ideally within a commercially focused environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn financial information into clear insights.
- Commercially minded and naturally curious about the reasons behind financial performance.
- Good communication skills and the confidence to work with non-finance stakeholders.
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of your work.
- Someone who enjoys working collaboratively and contributing ideas.
