Edward Mann are pleased to be supporting a well-established Marketing business based in Central London with the appointment of a commercially driven Management Accountant.

This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity, covering a period of maternity leave, and will suit an accountant who enjoys working closely with stakeholders and using financial data to influence business decisions.

Reporting into the senior finance team, you will take ownership of the monthly management reporting process while providing commercial support across the wider business. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and Heads of Department, helping them understand financial performance, manage budgets and make informed decisions around revenue, costs and profitability.

The role will offer exposure across management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and business partnering, with a strong focus on adding commercial value rather than simply producing numbers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for the preparation and delivery of accurate monthly management accounts and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain regular KPI reporting, providing meaningful analysis and commentary on business performance.
  • Work closely with Heads of Department to monitor budgets, expenditure and financial performance.
  • Act as a trusted finance partner to non-finance stakeholders, helping them understand financial results and their impact on the wider business.
  • Support the annual budgeting process, working with key stakeholders to establish realistic financial plans.
  • Prepare and update regular revenue, cost and cash flow forecasts.
  • Analyse actual performance against budget and forecast, identifying key variances and trends.
  • Provide insight into client, campaign and departmental profitability where required.
  • Assist the CFO and Financial Controller with financial analysis, modelling and ad-hoc commercial projects.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting and efficiencies across the business.
  • Support the reconciliation and ongoing review of balance sheet accounts.
  • Provide guidance and support to budget holders around financial processes and reporting.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
