Management Accountant, Production Agency, London, £45,000-£50,000
We're looking for a proactive, hands-on Management Accountant to lead the day-to-day finance function in a dynamic, fast-moving, project-led business.
This is a brand-new role offering the opportunity to make it your own. You'll be responsible for keeping the finance function running smoothly, ensuring accurate financial records, effective cash management, and seamless month-end processes.
Working closely with the Finance Director, you'll play a key role in strengthening financial controls while helping to shape and improve processes as the business continues to grow.

- Managing the end-to-end bookkeeping function, including sales and purchase ledgers, bank reconciliations, and expenses.
- Coordinating weekly supplier payment runs and maintaining effective cash flow management.
- Ensuring financial records are accurate, up to date, and always audit-ready.
- Preparing month-end reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and supporting schedules.
- Processing payroll and ensuring VAT, PAYE, and pension obligations are completed accurately and on time.
- Acting as the first point of contact for finance queries, building positive relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Supporting the year-end process and liaising with external accountants.

What We're Looking For
You'll be someone who enjoys taking ownership and thrives in a busy environment where accuracy matters. You'll have:
- Strong bookkeeping and finance operations experience
- Experience managing cash flow and supplier payments
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good Excel skills and a solid understanding of UK VAT and PAYE
- The ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
- Ideally, experience within an agency, professional services, or project-based business
- AAT, ACCA, or CIMA part-qualified (or qualified by experience)
