A well-established and growing organisation is seeking a talented Management Accountant to join its finance team. With a strong focus on commercial performance, continuous improvement, and high-quality financial reporting, this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated finance professional looking to take ownership of key accounting processes and contribute to business success.

Your new role

As Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the finance function and providing valuable insight into business performance. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Producing accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
  • Leading the preparation and ownership of annual budgets.
  • Preparing cash flow reports and forecasts.
  • Providing detailed variance analysis and accompanying commentary.
  • Supporting key customer account set-up processes.
  • Acting as a key point of contact within the finance team and collaborating with stakeholders across the business.
  • Assisting with the annual audit process and liaising with external auditors and tax advisors.

This role offers the opportunity to develop a comprehensive understanding of financial performance while helping drive reporting excellence and informed decision-making.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will ideally be part-qualified or fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA) and possess strong technical accounting knowledge. You will also demonstrate:

  • Advanced Excel and systems skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • The ability to manage competing deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
