A well-established and growing organisation is seeking a talented Management Accountant to join its finance team. With a strong focus on commercial performance, continuous improvement, and high-quality financial reporting, this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated finance professional looking to take ownership of key accounting processes and contribute to business success.
Your new role
As Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the finance function and providing valuable insight into business performance. Key responsibilities will include:
- Producing accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
- Leading the preparation and ownership of annual budgets.
- Preparing cash flow reports and forecasts.
- Providing detailed variance analysis and accompanying commentary.
- Supporting key customer account set-up processes.
- Acting as a key point of contact within the finance team and collaborating with stakeholders across the business.
- Assisting with the annual audit process and liaising with external auditors and tax advisors.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will ideally be part-qualified or fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA) and possess strong technical accounting knowledge. You will also demonstrate:
- Advanced Excel and systems skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to manage competing deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach to work.
