Salary: £34,000 - £38,000

Working hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
Location: Fully On-site
Robert Half has partnered with a leading business in Peterborough to recruit for a Management Accountant on a 10-month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to join a fast-paced organisation, providing financial insight and partnering with operational and commercial stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare weekly and monthly management reporting
- Support the month-end process, including journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
- Provide variance analysis and clear financial commentary
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Provide financial analysis to support business decisions
- Work closely with operational and commercial stakeholders
- Present financial information and highlight key trends, risks and opportunities

About you
- Experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance role
- Strong management reporting and analytical skills
- Good understanding of month-end accounting
- Confident communicating with non-finance stakeholders
- Strong Excel skills and experience using financial systems
- Commercially aware, organised and able to work to tight deadlines
