Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in London for a Management Accountant at Huishan Zhang Ltd. It is a hands-on finance role sitting at the heart of the business, ideal for someone with solid accounting experience who enjoys variety, ownership, and working within a creative environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data while adhering to the company's high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Managing VAT returns and supporting the year-end process in liaison with external accountants
- Assisting with cash flow reporting and forecasting
- Supporting budgeting and financial reporting processes

The Ideal Candidate
- At least 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience within fashion, retail, or a similar fast-paced environment
- Solid working knowledge of Xero
- Ideally experience of the Zedonk sales order processing system and Shopify ecom system
- Strong practical skills across bookkeeping, management accounts, and cash flow
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to work independently
- AAT qualification or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA — or equivalent hands-on experience
- Attention to detail and the ability to work with precision in financial data analysis.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role, particularly in the fashion or luxury goods industry, is a plus.
