Management Accountant | Fashion Brand | £40,000 - £50,000 | Permanent | London (Hybrid)
Looking for a hands on Management Accountant role within a growing fashion business where you can take real ownership?
Keane Recruitment is partnering with a fast growing, popular fashion brand looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join its London finance team.
This is a broad, hands on position with responsibility across month-end, management reporting, budgeting, cash flow, business partnering and financial controls, alongside managing and developing a junior team member.
Working closely with and wider business, you’ll play an important role in strengthening the finance function as the company continues to grow. It’s an opportunity for someone who enjoys the pace of an entrepreneurial environment and wants exposure beyond simply producing the monthly numbers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the monthly management accounts and month-end close.
- Prepare and review journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Analyse monthly performance against forecast.
- Support annual budgeting, forecasts and cash flow planning.
- Partner with teams across the business to understand performance and provide useful commercial insight.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset information and support wider balance sheet control.
- Oversee key payment and reconciliation processes.
- Support VAT, year-end accounting and the external audit process.
- Review existing finance processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, controls and reporting.
- Manage and support the development of one team member

Key Requirements:
- Part-qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA with relevant management accounting experience.
- Previous experience working within the fashion industry.
- Comfortable operating within an SME, growing or fast-paced environment.
- Experience working across multiple entities and currencies.
- Strong month-end accounting experience, including accruals, prepayments, journals and reconciliations
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data.
- Able to manage competing deadlines and take ownership of your workload.
- A confident communicator who can work effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
