Management Accountant
Our client in the private healthcare industry is looking for a new Management Accountant to join their team in London. Reporting into the Group Reporting Manager, this is a key role to join a fast paced team and support not only across finance but also business partner with wider operational teams too.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual P&L, balance sheet and cashflow reporting.
- Manage the month-end close process and ensure all balance sheet accounts are accurately reconciled.
- Produce capital expenditure and shared services reporting.
- Deliver monthly budget and forecast analysis for corporate cost centres, including clear variance commentary.
- Business partner with department heads and budget holders to review performance, challenge overspends and agree corrective actions.
- Support annual budgeting and reforecasting processes.
- Manage internal recharges, cost allocations and invoice approvals.
- Maintain regular project capex and cashflow reporting.
- Highlight liquidity risks, funding requirements and key financial issues to senior finance stakeholders.
- Ensure reporting complies with UK GAAP, FRS 102 and internal accounting policies.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) with strong understanding of technical reporting standards, intercompany transactions, project accounting, management accounts, and business partnering. Being a fast paced and collaborative environment, this role requires strong communicative ability, and to be able to deal with multiple stakeholders.
