Management Accountant
Salary: £50,000- £58,000
Location: Manchester (hybrid)
Duration: Permanent
Sellick Partnership has been exclusively engaged to recruit a Management Accountant for a successful, profitable, and award-winning SME service business in Manchester.

As they continue to grow, we’re excited to introduce an opportunity for a talented Management Accountant to join a high-performing Finance team.
As Management Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering accurate, timely financial reporting and supporting strategic decision-making across the business. This is a hands-on position offering real ownership, visibility, and the opportunity to shape processes within a growing organisation.
You will be working in a collaborative and supportive environment; gain exposure to senior stakeholders and strategic planning and be able to influence and improve finance processes in a growing business.

Key Responsibilities
- Full ownership of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and insightful commentary
- Preparation of month-end
- Supporting Finance Group reporting packs (Flash reporting, full P&L, cashflow, balance sheet)
- Supporting quarterly forecasting, annual budgets, and business planning
- Assisting with preparation of monthly business packs
- Providing external audit support and responding to audit queries
- Supporting strategy and annual reporting
- Developing standard procedures and driving continuous process improvements
- Assisting with ad hoc project work and financial analysis and reporting requests
The successful individual will be a confident, detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys taking ownership and driving improvements.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Fully qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
- Strong management accounting experience
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, XLOOKUP minimum)
- Strong analytical and numerical ability
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and time management skills

Desirable
- Experience within a professional services environment
- Previous experience in a finance function within professional services
