Management Accountant
Bridgwater, Somerset
£45,000 - £50,000 FTE
12 Month Fixed Term Contract, Part-time
Our client, a respected and established organisation, is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team on a part-time basis for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This opportunity offers flexible hybrid working arrangements alongside an enhanced benefits package.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative finance team, providing accurate reporting and valuable financial insight to support key business decisions while contributing to the continued development of the function. The responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Provide financial analysis, commentary, and insight to support decision-making
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
- Maintain strong financial controls, reconciliations, and reporting processes
- Assist with cash flow forecasting, treasury activities, and financial planning
- Support year-end accounts preparation and external audit requirements
- Work with internal stakeholders to improve financial understanding and performance
- Identify opportunities to enhance finance processes and reporting
The candidate:

- Qualified, part-qualified, or actively studying towards ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent
- Previous experience within a management accounting or similar finance role
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis
- Excellent Excel skills with confidence using finance systems
- Proactive, organised, and able to communicate effectively with stakeholders
