Management Accountant
£35k - £45k
Our client is a thriving accountancy practice. They focus on providing high-level Fractional Finance Controllers, Finance Directors, Management Accountants, Bookkeepers, Payroll Officers, and Credit Controllers. Servicing small to medium-sized companies in the North West. As they continue to grow, they're on the lookout for a dynamic, self-motivated individual who strives for perfection to join their super-friendly team based in Holcombe Brook, Bury.

- You’ll have the opportunity to take charge of your own portfolio of 4-7 clients, ensuring their Management Accounting needs are met. This role offers a perfect blend of responsibility, variety, and autonomy.
What You'll Be Doing
- Producing customised management accounts for each client
- Focus on Commercial Accounting & Business Intelligence
- Reconciling balance sheet accounts
- Analysing gross profitability by project, product, or revenue stream
- Deliver clear variance analysis and performance commentary
- Lead monthly/quarterly client meetings
- Deliver KPI dashboards to each client
- Maintain cash flow forecasts and budgets
- Provide commercial insights
- Handling VAT returns with precision
- Engaging in forecasting work
- Managing cash flow tasks
- Supporting our fantastic Bookkeepers

What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record in a similar position with relevant qualifications
- 5 years + experience
- Strong Management Accounts preparation experience
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to meet clients on-site
- Experience with Sage 50 and Xero (must-have!)
- Full competency with Outlook & Excel
- Confidence presenting financial information to clients
- Experience working in an accountancy practice is a plus
- A friendly, grounded, and trustworthy individual
