Management Accountant - Contract Role

Length, 6 months
Central London (Hybrid – 2 days office based)

Eutopia Search are seeking a Management Accountant to join a well known consumer business, a leader within its sector. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with a Senior Financial Controller in a Global business where finance plays a key role in supporting the wider business.

Based in Central London, this role offers a hybrid working model (2 days in the office) and would suit a Management Accountant looking to broaden their experience and take on increased responsibility. This is a key role supporting the management accounting function, working closely with the Financial Controller in delivering the P&L and Balance Sheet results of their trading entities, finance systems maintenance and improvements in systems and processes centrally.

The Role

  • Support the Financial Controller across month-end and core finance activities, including:
    • Month-end support including accruals and prepayments
    • Daily bank reconciliations and matching payments to invoices
    • Ownership of key cost reports
    • Maintaining daily cash flow forecasts
    • Work closely with the finance operations team to ensure end-to-end processes are efficient
    • Supporting ad-hoc finance projects as the business continues to grow
