Management Accountant Position

We’re recruiting for a Management Accountant position on behalf of a FMCG business based in Uxbridge (Hybrid - 2 days in, 3 days WFH)

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, with a dotted line into the Finance Manager, this role is pivotal in delivering timely and accurate management accounts to support decision-making across the business.

Our client is looking for a candidate with a strong management accounting skillset.

FMCG or Retail experience is highly desired, but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation and delivery of the monthly management accounts within timely deadlines, including P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, loan accounts, and fixed assets.
  • Producing insightful reporting packs with analysis and commentary on performance, risks and opportunities.
  • Support the annual and quarterly budgeting processes
  • Support the year end procedure including assisting with audits
  • Promote a continuous improvement approach to business policy & processes
  • Assisting the Finance Manager with other ad-hoc duties, as and when required

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar level management accounting position
  • Part-qualified or finalist (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent)
  • Confident communicator
