Management Accountant
Join an expanding US law firm in a broad, high-visibility Management Accountant role with an international remit. You’ll take ownership of the London month-end close and general ledger, while supporting commercial reporting, budgeting and forecasting and partnering with teams across Frankfurt and Brussels on tax, accounting and client account matters.

Management Accountant – What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead the London month-end close and maintain accurate general ledger records
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding items
- Prepare financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheet and variance analysis
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash management and cost centre reporting
- Coordinate tax compliance and accounting activities for the Frankfurt and Brussels offices
- Coordinate statutory accounts, audits and external adviser relationships across the relevant offices
- Manage intercompany accounting and cost allocations between London, Frankfurt and Brussels
- Ensure compliance with SRA Accounts Rules and firm policies relating to client money
- Oversee client account reconciliations, transfers and residual balances, escalating exceptions as required
- Support client accounting audits, controls and process improvements

Management Accountant – What We’re Looking For:

- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven general ledger and month-end close experience gained within a law firm
- Strong management accounting skills, including reporting, variance analysis and financial insight
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on controls and reconciliations
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivots, lookups and basic modelling, with experience using finance systems/ERPs
