AD Finance Recruitment is partnering with a fast-growing, multi-entity UK group to recruit a Management Accountant who wants real ownership, variety, and progression.

If you enjoy taking charge of month-end, improving processes, and being the finance go-to for operational teams, this role will suit you perfectly.

The Role

  • Lead monthly management accounts for several trading entities.
  • Produce accurate reporting packs with clear variance analysis.
  • Prepare journals (accruals, prepayments, payroll, fixed assets, intercompany).
  • Own balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting.
  • Ensure consistent revenue recognition and accurate WIP reporting.
  • Assist with statutory accounts, VAT, and audit queries.
  • Support integration of newly acquired businesses.
  • Partner with managers to provide insight and commercial challenge.
  • Contribute to systems and process improvements.

About You

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or finalist.
  • Strong management accounting and month-end experience.
  • Comfortable working across multi-entity or multi-site structures.
  • Solid understanding of revenue recognition and WIP.
  • Detail-driven, analytical, and confident communicating with stakeholders.
  • Experience in a growing SME or mid-market environment.
