Interim Management Accountant

£250-275 per day
3 months
Central London (Hybrid Working)

Our client is a Visa service provider based in London and are looking for an Interim Management Accountant on a 3 month basis.

Duties:

  • Prepare month end journals for accruals, prepayments, depreciation, fixed assets, payroll, intercompany, and others as required with adequate analysis and support.
  • Bank reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations across UK and regional entities.
  • Prepare the monthly management accounts pack and financial reports.
  • Develop and prepare balance sheet reconciliations with adequate analysis and support.
  • Work within the entity's financial system, Sage 50, including loading monthly journal entries, running key reports, and other tasks. Also assist on accounting matters regarding the entity's billing systems.
  • Assist with audit and liaising with auditors to assemble, analyze, and upload information and answer queries in a timely manner.
  • Taking ownership of establishing a strong control environment in AP and bank operations – for all entities, assisting with cash flow when needed.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting as and when required.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Operations team to improve and streamline processes.
  • Preparation of VAT returns for review.
  • Business partnering to support department heads with questions, information, or analysis and financial insights.

  • Degree in Accounting.
  • Part qualified/qualified professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA).
  • 1-3 years of previous experience as a management accountant.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAGE, SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including functions and pivot tables, ability to manage large amounts of data and summarize.
