Part-Time Management Accountant | Manchester city centre | Office based | Day rate negotiable
We're working with an established PE backed retail business looking to appoint a Part-Time Management Accountant to support the finance team during a busy period.
This is a hands-on role focused on delivering a smooth and accurate month-end process, ensuring management reporting deadlines are met and supporting the wider finance function where required.
Responsibilities
- Taking ownership of key month-end activities, ensuring reporting deadlines are achieved.
- Preparing monthly management accounts with supporting analysis and commentary.
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating any discrepancies.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting activities.
- Using Business Central to maintain accurate financial records and produce management information.

About You
- Fully qualified Accountant
- Previous experience preparing management accounts within a retail, ecommerce, or consumer-focused business.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Confident managing month-end processes with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify issues and provide practical solutions.
