PQ Management Accountant
Acton Lane, London, NW10
Minimum 3 days per week in the office
We are working with a growing, internationally operating business that is looking to hire a Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join its finance team in Acton, North West London.
This is a great opportunity for an ACCA, ACA or CIMA part-qualified accountant who is looking to develop their management accounting experience within a successful, PE-backed business.
About the role
You will support the preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts, working closely with the wider finance and operational teams. The role offers exposure to US operations, financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, financial analysis, and process improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts for the US operations
- Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
- Supporting the month-end close process
- Ensuring US cash and accounts payable transactions are reconciled weekly
- Providing financial analysis to support business decision-making
- Supporting statutory, audit, tax, and regulatory reporting
- Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes and controls
- Responding to finance-related queries from internal stakeholders
- Supporting ad hoc finance projects and process improvement initiatives
- Progressing towards independently managing the accounting and reporting requirements of an assigned legal entity

About you
We are looking for someone who is:
- ACCA, ACA, or CIMA part-qualified
- Has at least 2 years' accounting experience
- Strong on Excel and Microsoft Office
- Comfortable working with month-end, reconciliations, and management accounts
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and confident investigating discrepancies
- Familiar with UK GAAP and/or IFRS
- Experienced with NetSuite or a similar ERP system
- A strong communicator with good stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with deadlines
