Camino Partners are delighted to be partnering with a specialist technology business operating within the financial markets sector to appoint a Management Accountant. With an international footprint across the UK, US, and Asia, the business is entering an exciting phase as it brings its finance function in-house, creating an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop into a Financial Controller role over time.
Currently supported by an outsourced finance provider, the business is investing in building a stronger internal finance function. This role will play a key part in that journey, offering broad exposure across management accounting, process improvement, and commercial finance, while working closely with senior leadership to shape how finance supports the wider business.
The Opportunity:
This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious Management Accountant who enjoys working in a hands-on environment and wants to play a genuine role in building and developing an in-house finance function. You'll take ownership of the monthly management accounts, improve financial processes, and work closely with external partners while gradually taking on greater responsibility as the function evolves.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
