About the Role
Working closely with the Leeds Finance Manager, you'll support the manufacturing and procurement teams, providing accurate financial analysis and insight to help improve site performance. This is a great opportunity for a finance professional with previous manufacturing experience who enjoys working closely with operational teams and using financial data to drive performance and improvement.

Michael Page Finance is partnering with a well-established international manufacturing business to recruit a Management Accountant for its Leeds operation.
Description
- Support month-end and year-end close, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Analyse financial performance against budget and identify trends and variances.
- Provide recommendations to improve financial and operational performance.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and wider financial planning activities.
- Review financial data and investigate fluctuations or anomalies.
- Process and review supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and appropriate approvals.
- Reconcile supplier statements and support accounts payable activities.
- Produce regular financial and management reports.
- Gather and present financial information, analysis and recommendations to stakeholders.

Profile
- Previous experience in a Management Accounting role within manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of financial and management accounting.
- Experience producing management information and analysing performance.
- Strong Excel and financial systems skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- The ability to analyse data and communicate financial insight clearly.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive approach with the confidence to identify issues and recommend improvements.
- A relevant finance/accounting qualification or equivalent experience.
