Management Accountant West Yorkshire
Hybrid working
We’re looking for a Qualified Management Accountant to join a growing Finance team and play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, strong financial controls, and commercial insight.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded accountant who enjoys both technical finance and people leadership, with responsibility for leading a small team and supporting informed business decision-making.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and manage a small finance team.
- Produce consolidated and practice-level management accounts.
- Deliver accurate reporting and insightful financial commentary.
- Own monthly balance sheet reconciliations and controls.
- Prepare and maintain a rolling 13-week cash flow forecast.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and year-end audit.
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls, and reporting.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.

About you
- Fully qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent.
- Proven experience producing management accounts in a commercial environment.
- Confident people leader with the ability to coach and develop others.
- Strong technical accounting and balance sheet control skills.
- Commercially minded with excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable working to tight deadlines.
- Desirable: Experience within a multi-site retail environment and/or cash flow forecasting.
