Management Accountant West Yorkshire

Hybrid working

We’re looking for a Qualified Management Accountant to join a growing Finance team and play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, strong financial controls, and commercial insight.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded accountant who enjoys both technical finance and people leadership, with responsibility for leading a small team and supporting informed business decision-making.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and manage a small finance team.
  • Produce consolidated and practice-level management accounts.
  • Deliver accurate reporting and insightful financial commentary.
  • Own monthly balance sheet reconciliations and controls.
  • Prepare and maintain a rolling 13-week cash flow forecast.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and year-end audit.
  • Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls, and reporting.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.

About you

  • Fully qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience producing management accounts in a commercial environment.
  • Confident people leader with the ability to coach and develop others.
  • Strong technical accounting and balance sheet control skills.
  • Commercially minded with excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable working to tight deadlines.
  • Desirable: Experience within a multi-site retail environment and/or cash flow forecasting.
