Management Accountant

Join a growing multi-site business in Altrincham as a Management Accountant, taking ownership of month-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, VAT returns, payroll accounting and fixed assets. Suitable for a Part-Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or QBE professional looking to play a key role in financial reporting, process improvement and business performance.

Description

  • Previous experience in a Management Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant position.
  • ACCA, CIMA or ACA Part-Qualified status, or be Qualified by Experience (QBE).
  • Strong month-end and balance sheet reconciliation experience.
  • Experience preparing VAT returns.
  • Excellent Excel skills and strong systems knowledge.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines within a fast-paced environment.

Profile

A Successful Management Accountant Should Have

  • A professional accounting qualification or equivalent experience in accounting and finance.
  • Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience in preparing management accounts and financial reporting.
  • A good understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with different teams.
