The Role
As our Management Accountant, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering timely, accurate financial insights that shape operational and strategic decisions. You’ll work closely with senior finance leaders and become a trusted partner to departments across the business.

This role covers the full suite of management accounting — from month-end ownership to variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, cost analysis, and supporting system/process improvements. You’ll also collaborate with non-finance colleagues, presenting financial information in a clear and meaningful way.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Full ownership of monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) with commentary and variance analysis
- Support budgeting and reforecasting cycles
- Maintain key balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset register
- Analyse overheads and departmental spend, identifying trends and efficiencies
- Contribute to process improvements, automation, and upcoming system migrations
- Provide financial support to department heads and operational teams
- Assist with internal and external audit requirements

What We’re Looking For
- Fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) OR part-qualified with solid relevant experience
- 3–5 years’ experience in management accounting
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and advanced Excel skills
- Confident working with ERP/accounting systems
- Analytical, detail-driven, organised, and proactive
- Ideally experience within a recruitment industry
