Management Accountant

Ready Egg Products is the modern face of Egg Processing in the UK. We are looking for an individual to join our finance team as a new ‘hands-on management accountant’ role. We are offering the following full-time permanent position based at our head office in Lisnaskea, Co. Fermanagh.

Role overview

Reporting, Risk and Control Management

Part of the team managing company finances and accounting operations in two reporting entities;

  • Assisting in the accurate and timely preparation, review and continuous improvement of monthly management accounts;
  • Assisting in the preparation, review and submission of annual audit deliverables;
  • Assisting in the timely compilation and submission of statutory compliance returns;
  • Contribute to the operation of effective credit control procedures and assist management team in strengthening and maintaining a robust financial control environment;
  • Liaising with suppliers, customers and internal departments regarding finance-related matters such as activity and rebate reporting;
  • The chosen individual will be expected to have a working knowledge of the day-to-day processes within the office;

New MIS Integration, Implementation and Development

  • Analysing and developing systems and processes, including training;
  • Providing post go-live support of new systems and processes across all locations to ensure that objectives are met and improvements are realised;
  • Supporting the ongoing IT security project.

Skills and experience

  • Accounting qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or ACA (either part-qualified or fully qualified).
  • Management reporting including preparation of management accounts in an industrial/manufacturing environment;
  • Experience of accounting systems and ideally of integrated/ERP systems;
  • Experience of using MS Office and advanced Excel skills in particular;
  • Experience of implementing new IT business systems and continuous development of reporting information is desirable;
  • Strong analytical and interpreting skills.
  • Experience of introducing new processes and managing change is desirable;
  • Instinctive IT skills, adaptability and ability to work under own initiative and embrace new challenges;
  • Can communicate effectively at all levels and build positive relationships with key stakeholders;
  • A driving license is required to attend our site in Dungannon when required.

Work location

Job Type

  • Full-Time, Permanent. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Flexible working hours may be considered.

Salary

  • Commensurate to experience and negotiable at interview stage. Minimum starting salary of £40,000.
