The role of Management Accountant in Newark
The role of Management Accountant in Newark is key to supporting the accounting and finance function.
You'll be handling the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting and helping the business stay on top of its financial goals.
This is an office-based role in Newark (five days on site).

Description
- Prepare and maintain monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support business planning.
- Reconcile balance sheets and manage financial controls.
- Support the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with auditors.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Assist with cash flow management and cost control measures.
- Collaborate with different departments to provide financial guidance and support.

- Part-qualified status in a recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
- Able to commute to our client's office in Newark.
- Strong technical accounting skills and an analytical mindset.
- Experience in preparing management accounts and financial reports.
- Confidence in working with financial systems and Excel.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
Job Offer
- Salary ranging from £35,000 to £45,000, dependent on the level of experience.
- Discretionary bonus.
- Permanent position in Newark.
