The Opportunity
Radar Healthcare's new ⭐Management Accountant⭐
At Radar Healthcare, we're passionate about helping healthcare organisations deliver safer, higher-quality care. Our software supports healthcare providers across the UK and internationally to manage risk, quality, compliance, and patient safety, making a real difference to people's lives.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Management Accountant to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining robust controls, and providing valuable financial insights that support business decision-making.

What you’ll be doing to make a difference:


Get help with your application
Your very own career expert that helps elevate your application to the next level.
Month-End Reporting & Financial Close
- Take ownership of key elements of the month-end close process
- Prepare and review journals, accruals, and prepayments
- Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting
- Perform variance analysis and provide meaningful commentary
- Support continuous improvement of reporting processes
Balance Sheet Ownership
- Maintain and reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts
- Manage prepayments, accruals, deferred revenue, cash, and working capital balances
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies proactively
- Ensure all balances are fully supported and understood
Revenue Accounting
- Support revenue recognition activities in line with IFRS 15
- Maintain deferred revenue schedules
- Work closely with Commercial and Finance teams to ensure accurate contract accounting
Financial Controls & Audit Support
- Strengthen and maintain financial controls
- Ensure work is audit-ready and appropriately documented
- Support external audits through preparation of reconciliations, schedules, and supporting analysis
- Respond efficiently to audit queries
Tax, Payroll & Payments
- Assist with VAT returns and statutory reporting requirements
- Prepare and post payroll journals
- Support payment processing activities and banking uploads
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and approval processes
Business Support
- Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to support decision-making
- Assist with investor requests and finance projects
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives across the business
Your journey so far...
- Strong experience managing month-end close activities
- Solid balance sheet reconciliation experience
- Good understanding of management accounting principles
- Experience supporting audit processes
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Skills & Attributes
- Proactive and organised with a strong sense of ownership
- Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Confident communicator who can work collaboratively across teams
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growing business environment
