Management Accountant

DSFS Ltd are looking to recruit into the position of Management Accountant, providing support to our financial management team on a Zero Hour bank worker agreement.

A key member of the finance team with responsibility for ensuring all processes and procedures are in place to provide the Division with relevant, accurate and timely management information concerning financial and activity performance to support with financial viability and achievement of targets.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to the wider finance function including a proactive approach.
  • Manage the preparation and agreement of annual budgets for specified divisions and maintain accurate records of all budget setting and budget movements.
  • Manage the preparation and provision of accurate and timely information by the production of integrated financial and activity reports. Ensure quality assurance controls are in place for key outputs.
  • Responsible for the monitoring and forecasting of financial performance on a monthly basis, incorporating the use of activity statistics where appropriate, and by applying relevant management accounting techniques.
  • Proactively investigate variances and provide analytical reports on areas specifically requested by the Divisional Finance Partner or budget holder/manager.
