Management Accountant / Bookkeeper – Reading
£28,000 - £35,000
In this role, you'll manage the day-to-day bookkeeping and management accounting requirements for a portfolio of clients, covering VAT, reconciliations, monthly reporting and more.

We're working with a growing accountancy practice in Reading that's looking for a Management Accountant / Bookkeeper to join its team.

The Role
You'll be responsible for a varied portfolio, with work including:
- Completing day-to-day bookkeeping for clients
- Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Completing bank and control account reconciliations
- Processing journals and maintaining accurate accounting records
- Supporting clients with cloud accounting software
- Producing regular financial reports
- Liaising directly with clients and answering accounting queries
- Reviewing bookkeeping completed by junior team members where appropriate

About You
We're looking for someone with previous bookkeeping and/or management accounts experience within a UK accountancy practice.
You don't need to have experience across everything above. If you're currently working mainly in bookkeeping and would like to gain more management accounts exposure, we'd particularly like to hear from you.
