Management Accountant / Bookkeeper – Basingstoke

In this role, you'll provide bookkeeping and management accounting support to a varied portfolio of clients, covering everything from day-to-day reconciliations and VAT through to monthly management accounts and reporting.

We're working with a growing accountancy practice in Basingstoke that's looking for a Management Accountant / Bookkeeper to join its team.

The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
- Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Bank and control account reconciliations
- Processing purchase and sales ledger transactions
- Posting journals and maintaining accurate accounting records
- Liaising directly with clients and answering day-to-day queries
- Supporting more junior team members where appropriate
You'll have plenty of opportunity to build your technical knowledge and take on greater responsibility as you progress.
About You
We're keen to hear from anyone with previous bookkeeping or management accounts experience within a UK accountancy practice.
