Edward Mann are recruiting on behalf of a leading Private Healthcare Group based in Central London. Our client is looking for a commercially focused management accountant to join their team on a 12 month fixed-term contract to cover a maternity leave.

This position will provide support to the Financial Controller and CFO, providing accurate and timely financial and statistical information through the preparation of KPI reports and monthly management reports, and assist with budgeting and forecasting.

The majority of this position will focus around management accounting and business partnering with various HODs, and the preparation and delivery of the annual budget.

Overview:

  • Provide training and support to non-finance managers, through the interpretation and review of financial/statistical information.
  • Work closely with the Divisional CFO and other members of the finance team to increase efficiencies across all processes and service delivery.
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual budget process.
  • Prepare monthly Divisional Reporting Packs.
  • Produce monthly management reports.
  • Production of weekly forecasts.
  • Assist with the monitoring of all balance sheets accounts.

Candidate requirements:

  • Available to start quickly and commit to a 12 month fixed term contract.
  • Experienced in the production of monthly management accounts.
  • Budgeting and forecasting experience.
  • Strong Business Partnering skillset.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (those not studying towards an accountancy qualification but with relevant experience will also be considered).
