We’re looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join our Finance team on a 9-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Senior Operations Finance Business Partner, you’ll take ownership of management accounts, month-end reporting, budgeting and forecasting, while working closely with operational and commercial teams to analyse performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
The role will involve management accounts, forecasts and weekly profitability reporting, alongside margin and cost analysis, costing, inventory accounting, stock valuation and CapEx proposals. You’ll also provide commercial insight across pricing, product mix, efficiencies and cost reduction.

You’ll support Tesco compliance, open-book reporting, rebates and profit-share arrangements, while helping to improve financial controls, processes, reporting tools and dashboards.
We’re looking for someone with strong experience in management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, ideally within a manufacturing, production or operational environment. Strong communication skills, advanced Excel and experience with financial systems are essential.

A part-qualified or qualified accounting qualification, such as CIMA, ACCA or ACA, is required. Experience in fresh produce, along with knowledge of D365, Power BI, Power Query or SQL, would be advantageous.
