Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking for a varied role where you can develop your skills and be part of a supportive finance team?
We're looking for a Management Accountant to join our growing finance function. You'll be responsible for preparing the management accounts for our Group entity whilst supporting the Group Financial Controller across a range of finance activities, including cashflow reporting, treasury, group reporting and finance projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys producing accurate financial information but is also keen to get involved in projects, process improvements and the wider activities of a collaborative finance team.
The Opportunity
As Management Accountant, you'll prepare the monthly management accounts for our Group entity and play an important role in supporting the wider finance function. You'll work closely with colleagues across the team to help deliver accurate reporting, maintain strong financial controls and contribute to a variety of finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting month-end reporting activities
- Posting journals including accruals, prepayments, payroll, expenses and depreciation
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining supporting schedules
- Supporting the preparation of group consolidations by gathering, validating and reporting financial information
- Preparing cashflow reporting and supporting treasury and banking activities
- Supporting statutory accounts preparation, year-end audit requirements and regulatory reporting
- Supporting financial controls and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and reporting standards
- Working alongside the FP&A team to understand and explain financial performance
- Supporting finance projects, process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
- Supporting the Group Financial Controller with wider group reporting and finance activities as required

About You
We're looking for someone who combines strong management accounting skills with a practical and collaborative approach.
You'll be comfortable working to deadlines, enjoy getting into the detail and take pride in producing accurate, reliable financial information. You'll also be keen to broaden your experience across different areas of finance and contribute to continuous improvement.
Ideally you'll have:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, or be nearing completion
- Experience preparing management accounts
- Strong month-end reporting and balance sheet reconciliation experience
- Experience supporting statutory accounts or external audits would be beneficial
- Exposure to treasury, cashflow or banking activities would be advantageous
- Strong understanding of financial controls and accounting principles
- Strong Excel skills and confidence using finance systems
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- A proactive and organised approach
- The ability to build positive working relationships across finance and the wider business
- Experience within a multi-entity environment would be advantageous but isn't essential
