Management Accountant

As our Management Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering accurate financial information and supporting business performance across our corporate and hotel portfolios.

You'll:

  • Produce monthly management accounts for LGH Hotels Management, including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow reporting.
  • Deliver timely and accurate reporting across approximately 50 UK property companies.
  • Partner with Directors and Heads of Department, providing meaningful analysis that supports informed business decisions.
  • Prepare and review budgets, forecasts and financial plans.
  • Complete balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations, ensuring financial integrity and control.
  • Support monthly, half-year and year-end close processes, including audit preparation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial controls, systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the finance community to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to tax reporting and ensure compliance with financial standards and legislation.
  • Support the ongoing development of finance systems and ways of working.

About You

We're looking for someone who combines technical accounting knowledge with commercial thinking and strong interpersonal skills.

You'll ideally have:

  • Ideally have CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Good Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems.
  • The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Strong business partnering and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A passion for continuous improvement and developing new ways of working.
  • Commercial awareness and an ability to understand the wider business impact of financial decisions.
  • A collaborative approach and desire to contribute positively to team success.
