Management Accountant | Digital Media Business | Manchester
Harmonic are delighted to be working with a highly recognisable and market-leading digital media business in their search for a Management Accountant to join their growing finance team.

Having experienced significant growth over the last decade, the business has established itself as a leader within the digital publishing landscape, combining creativity, technology and data-driven insights to build highly engaged global audiences.
As the business continues its growth journey, they are looking to strengthen their management accounting capability through the addition of a newly Management Accountant position.
The Role:
Reporting into an experienced Financial Controller, you will have full responsibility for month-end, management accounts as well as assisting the more junior members of the transactional finance team. This role would suit a confident and hard-working individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Full responsibility for month-end
- Production of the monthly management accounts
- Supporting more junior members of the finance team with accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assisting with payroll
- Working alongside the Financial Controller to produce financial accounts
- Assist with any ad hoc tasks
What we need to see (essential):
- CIMA / ACA / ACCA Qualified (finalists considered)
- Strong exposure to owning the end-end management accounts preparation
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and auditors.

What we'd like to see (bonus):
- Media industry experience
- Experience within a large, complex or high-growth business environment.
Salary:
£40,000 - £55,000 + Benefits
Location:
Central Manchester (Hybrid)
