Management Accountant | Digital Media Business | Manchester

Harmonic are delighted to be working with a highly recognisable and market-leading digital media business in their search for a Management Accountant to join their growing finance team.

The Business:

Our client is one of the UK's most successful digital-first media organisations, reaching hundreds of millions of consumers globally through engaging content across entertainment, sport, gaming and lifestyle. Having experienced significant growth over the last decade, the business has established itself as a leader within the digital publishing landscape, combining creativity, technology and data-driven insights to build highly engaged global audiences.

As the business continues its growth journey, they are looking to strengthen their management accounting capability through the addition of a newly Management Accountant position.

The Role:

Reporting into an experienced Financial Controller, you will have full responsibility for month-end, management accounts as well as assisting the more junior members of the transactional finance team. This role would suit a confident and hard-working individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility for month-end
  • Production of the monthly management accounts
  • Supporting more junior members of the finance team with accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Assisting with payroll
  • Working alongside the Financial Controller to produce financial accounts
  • Assist with any ad hoc tasks

What we need to see (essential):

  • CIMA / ACA / ACCA Qualified (finalists considered)
  • Strong exposure to owning the end-end management accounts preparation
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and auditors.

Salary:

£40,000 - £55,000 + Benefits

Central Manchester (Hybrid)
