Management Accountant
Location: Central London
Working Pattern: On-site, 5 days per week
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + Study Support
Contract: Permanent
The Opportunity
A well-established and growing multi-entity services business is seeking a Management Accountant to join its finance team. This role offers exposure across financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis while working closely with both finance and operational stakeholders.
This position is ideally suited to someone in the early stages of their professional qualification who is looking to build a strong foundation in management accounting within a commercially focused environment. Study support is available, alongside a clearly defined progression path into Finance Business Partnering.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
- Reconcile and maintain key balance sheet accounts.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Analyse costs and identify opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain financial models and reporting tools.
- Partner with operational stakeholders to provide meaningful financial insight.
- Support year-end audit and statutory reporting requirements.
- Assist with commercial pricing analysis and tender submissions.
- Contribute to process improvements and reporting automation initiatives.

About you
- Studying towards, or looking to commence, a professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a transactional finance role, with a strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, including debits, credits and journal postings.
- Strong exposure to Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- A proactive problem solver with a keen willingness to learn, develop and progress within a finance function.
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
