Management Accountant
This is a lovely Management Accountant role within the beauty and skincare business. It’s an unusual role as you will be working closely with the FD and getting genuine hands-on exposure across the management accounts, month-end, P&L and inventory side of an FMCG business. The company is not looking for somebody who already knows absolutely everything — they want somebody part-qualified who has some good accounting foundations and wants to develop. They'll also train you around areas such as stock accounting where needed. And because it's beauty and skincare, you're working with physical consumer products that are being sold through retailers, internationally and online, so the finance work is very connected to what's actually happening commercially in the business.
Title: Management Accountant
Sector: Beauty & Cosmetics (FMCG)
Salary: up to £50,000 + 10% bonus + other benefits
Work style: Hybrid (3 days in office and 2 are wfh)

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
