Your new company
Hays Senior Finance are supporting a highly successful, PE-backed organisation in the West Midlands with the recruitment of a Management Accountant/Finance Analyst on a permanent basis. This is a unique opportunity to become part of a fast-paced business that has experienced significant growth through acquisition and continues to invest heavily in its future.
Your new role
Working closely with the CFO and wider finance team, you will play a key role in supporting financial reporting, business integration projects, cash flow management, and the development of robust controls across a multi-entity environment.
- Produce month-end management accounts and performance reporting across multiple business units
- Support the integration and financial reporting of newly acquired businesses
- Own weekly cash flow reporting and forecasting activities
- Develop and enhance KPIs, management information, and business performance reporting
- Assist with process improvement initiatives and strengthening internal controls
- Partner with operational teams to improve financial information flows and reporting accuracy
- Contribute to wider finance transformation projects, including ERP implementation, automation, and systems integration

What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Strong experience of month-end reporting and management accounting
- Technically strong and demonstrated knowledge of UK accounting standards and principles
- Good understanding of relevant tax-related matters (corporation tax, VAT, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across the business
- Comfortable working within a fast-moving and entrepreneurial environment
- Strong Excel skills and good working knowledge of ERP systems
What you'll get in return

The role is office-based, so you'll be comfortable working in Kingswinford/Dudley 5 days a week.
