Management Accountant - Fixed Term Contract
We are seeking a Management Accountant to join the Financial Control team on a Fixed Term Contract in the UK Owned Distribution Company (ODC) based in Hook.
This business unit is responsible for bringing our iconic brands to the UK market and we are looking for someone to fill this position managing our overhead costs and working across a range of key controls.

Main Responsibilities
This is the lead finance role for the UK ODC’s overheads working with budget holders to proactively manage the cost base and give robust inputs into business planning and reporting processes.
The role plays a key role in controls and compliance including cross-functional operational excellence reporting and controls self-assessment. This requires a good understanding of processes across the ODC and ability to constructively challenge compliance issues and work to improve control deficiencies.
The role covers a range of core accounting activities including balance sheet reconciliations, manual payments, duty controls, ONS returns and providing cover for the wider team.
There will also be an opportunity to support on improvement and business change initiatives.
Our Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a part-qualified accountant who can work independently to deliver to deadlines. You should have good communication skills being able to work effectively across the UK ODC and with group finance. You should be confident in communicating with senior leaders both from an overheads business partnering perspective and when raising compliance concerns.
